Last month I was in a performance art piece in Manhattan. It was done by people from the arts collective I am a member of, Union Square Artists.
It was part of the COLLECT HIVE Festival.
In Memoriam: A Funeral Procession for the Death of Love is a burial for love, an actual New Orleans style funeral procession, carrying a casket with a portrayal of Love, that marched up Park Avenue from Union Square to Madison Square Park to “bury” love. As we enter the last months of winter, the procession celebrates the cyclical death and renewal of love.
